About Us

What is EmpowHER?

Our approach

EmpowHER, launched in 2019, is a youth-led program for girls and young women aged 12–29, providing opportunities to engage in community service, develop leadership skills, and explore their passions through mentorship and hands-on experiences.

Through Achēv, participants co-create flexible volunteer opportunities, addressing critical community needs while developing essential leadership skills.

Each youth completes a minimum of 120 service hours within a year, gaining hands-on experience through a passion project, active mentorship, and career-enhancing opportunities such as speaking engagements and attending public forums, workshops, and discussions.

By collaborating with partners, community groups, and elected officials, we aim to:

  •   Increase youth participation in civic activity, civic engagement, and political engagement.
  •   Strengthen community resilience through service projects addressing local needs.
  •   Expand leadership and career development opportunities for young women.
  •   Build bridges between underserved communities and policy makers.

Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure all young people and children get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision
We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.
Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
